Festival

At big festivals, the chiefs from surrounding villages are proceeded with with dancers, singers, and of course umbrellas.
They even have a legit archery contest at our festival!
crafts on display
More crafts...
Just like any good state-fair like festival, we have produce on display as well (usually largest of oddest shaped of its kind).
This is supposed to say Exhibits, nice try
An old clunker put to use.
Fresh catch from the dam in Tumu
Men's dance troupe

Working hard
Sweet move, guys

Cultural entertainment. The best is yet to come

Festival complete with a Tug of Peace competition
Notice the guy in blue (Sarah's counterpart) as the much-needed coach for the tug of peace team....hmmmm needed?
Celebration
owned...with a capital P
Now brace yourself: in some cermonious way, this guy, a member of the Chief's family, kills a sheep and proceded to bike chunks of flesh from its neck and displays it to everyone
Notice the blood...and dead sheep
Now he moves on to the next group. When he's seen everyone, he goes behind some walls and vomits up all he just consumed. Quite graceful
